God Does Not Call the Qualified ... He Qualifies the Called …
There are currently six elders that shepherd the flock at the Minda St. Church of Christ. God has called each one of these men into a specific area of purpose uniquely suited to their talents and abilities. Originally from different locations across the country (Cleveland, OH, St. Louis, MO, Compton, CA, West Monroe, LA, Savannah, GA and Baltimore, MD), these men have been called to Abilene to serve for such as time as this.
They were first in training as Deacons for over 15 years. God continues to use these men and their gift of spiritual oversight to feed the flock at Minda (Acts 20:28). Teamed with the Evangelist, these men speak as “one voice” in the daily administration of the work at the Minda St. congregation.
